Oto Medicines is a finalist in the WA Innovator of the Year Awards 2026 in both the Emerging Innovators and Community Benefit & Wellbeing categories.

These awards recognise Western Australian innovations demonstrating strong commercial potential alongside the ability to deliver positive outcomes for the community.

Oto Medicines' selection as a finalist reflects its work to develop innovative therapies that address significant unmet health needs. Central to this work is Spritz-OM, which is being developed as a new approach to preventing bacterial respiratory infections and reducing their impact on patients, families and the wider healthcare system.

The recognition across two categories highlights both the development of the technology and its potential application to community health and wellbeing.

Oto Medicines continues to progress Spritz-OM towards clinical trials, with a focus on translating research into a product that can be practically used in healthcare and community settings.
